“I have the incredible pleasure of making jewelry very slowly and very carefully from scratch, so it’s very individual. I try and keep things really simple and elegant so the jewelry shows off your beauty as opposed to drawing attention to itself. I’m very interested in designing jewelry that becomes seamlessly part of who you are. It’s a very intimate process: it’s made by me and goes out into the world and becomes very meaningful for somebody else. It always has that energy for me. It’s a lovingly made thing that then takes its place on somebody else’s body. It’s from my hands to theirs.”
