MEET THE DESIGNER
Sharón Chandally Pedrini learned traditional Yememite metalsmithing from her uncles, who taught her the family craft alongside time-honored traditions connected to her grandfather's legacy. During what became a three-year apprenticeship in Israel, Sharon's uncles told stories as they worked their magic with precious metals. Deeply moved by her unforgettable experience with her family and empowered with a new creative perspective and skill, Sharon continued innovating under the influence of generations. In her work, she loves exploring concepts like asymmetry and balance, and she enjoys juxtaposing the ancient filigree techniques of the past with modern design elements. The more Sharon connects to her roots, the more her designs reflect her vision and rich cultural heritage. Chandally is proud to be a member of Ethical Metalsmiths and is certified to use Fairmined gold.
