What is your signature piece of jewelry?
This changes every few months, but right now I have been wearing a pair of Ippolita diamond pave flower studs I received as a gift almost daily.
Who is your jewelry style icon?
My mother. She has the most amazing collection of timeless, classic jewelry and looks equally elegant in diamonds as she does in costume jewelry.
For you, what makes a fashion collection or a particular design impactful?
Personally, I love simple, streamlined forms that are timeless and don’t necessarily follow trends. I don’t own a lot of patterns or bright colors – 80% of my wardrobe is black, white or grey.
And what makes a piece of jewelry impactful?
Similarly, I love simple, organic shapes that aren’t too fussy or loud.
When it comes to jewelry, more is more or less is more? Why?
Less is more. I’m a big proponent of fewer, more special things, especially when it comes to jewelry.
Your most treasured piece of jewelry, and why?
A diamond pinkie ring from the 40s. It belonged to my grandmother and I inherited it after she passed away a few years ago. I’ve never worn it, but every time I see it in my jewelry box it makes me smile. She is the only person I’ve ever met that could pull off wearing a different diamond ring on every finger and still look incredibly chic.
